I wish I could find a reputable homepathic vet --the prednisone worries me but I can't keep beating myself up about this. I already carry around alot of guilt that no matter what I did, I couldn't stop my mom's decline from Parkinson's in her last 2 1/2 years and no matter what I did, I couldn't save my beloved 14 yr old lab mix from her cancer.
Im so sorry to hear of your sorrows Barbara.... :(  Your email was fine, I in no way was offended, I feel your frustration.  You can call and get a consult via phone with the homopathic doctor I saw if you want to try it.  His name is Dr. Michael Dym and he is in Morresville NJ Classical Veterinary Homeopathy - Dr. Michael E. Dym VMD he is very knowledgeable and very holistic lol  I found him quite helpful and he could discuss the DMG with you as he has done quite a bit of research on it and is a firm believer in diet. Diet wise we used the liver shake then some canned and the cat preferred to go to dry food, I am a HPN representative so I fed him Life's Abundance Cat food and he did wonderfully. The cancer just hit hard and fast and there was no hope for him and he was suffering :(  We now have his son who is leuk negative and healthy as a horse.....  check out Dr Dym's website.
Good Luck
