Please add Kelly to the CLS.
She went to the rainbow bridge last night.  She went from looking/acting/behaving perfectly normal to gone in a matter of days.
It was just last week - Thursday - that I caught her and brought her into the room with the kittens.  She never liked to come close to me and I let her be.  I am kicking myself right now about that.
Last night I came home from work and she was a total mess.  She had lost control of her bladder and was so out of it she didn't move.  I picked her up - she felt light - and I was thinking maybe the kittens had worms or something and she had caught it.  Well, I took her into the bathroom to rinse her off.  She cooperated too easily and I knew that wasn't a good sign.  After a minute or two she opened her mouth to meow at me and her gums were so white.
I knew that was REALLY bad.  I toweled her off, wrapped her up and sat with her for a few minutes.  She actually started squirming a little so I got the carrier and put her in.  She was making a little noise here and there but not squirming so much.
I started the trek to the emergency vet.  She died sometime during the ride there.  I was afraid that happened at one point and didn't dare check until I got to the vet's office.
They were very nice about everything and are making the arrangements for her to be cremated and I will have her ashes returned to me in a couple weeks.
