Please, please, please forward to us the papers that your vet submitted, if
possible, so we can replicate it with our own vets. Thank you for being he

<< I just got the call from my vet's assistant. We have the approval for

Grace's feline interferon! We don't have the medicine yet, she still

has to order it from AbbeyVet in the UK. And they won't give us enough

for Jazz and Tim (my other two FeLV babies), we have to apply separately

for each case. I asked how we could make this available to everyone

else who so desperately needs it, (meaning anyone that's fighting this

f****ing disease). She said that their office doesn't do studies

because they don't get grants and the time involved with writing papers

etc. is overwhelming and takes them away from their regular practice of

medicine. She did suggest that if the individual participants involved

were willing to foot the cost, my doctor might be interested. When I'm

finally face to face with my vet I'm going to throw myself at her feet

and make an impassioned plea for all the FeLV cats who's guardians are

struggling for answers. Michelle, the vet assistant, said she thought

one of the reasons it took so long to get approval from the FDA was

because it's so new. Maybe Grace, Jazz and Tim can break new ground and

get some Virbagen flowing for the rest. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!
