Wow, I dind't know that Beagles were dumped in their elder years - what a sad thing. Thanks so much - She was a blessing. -

Gloria,

I'm sorry to hear about your Sweetie. Beagles have a particularly hard life, it seems they, more so than other breds, are dumped in their elder years. Your Sweetie was prob. dumped in that parking lot where you found her, and like so many...was just waiting for her loved ones to come back for her. Luckly, she found someone better...You.

One day, you'll find her waiting for you, just as patiently, when you cross, and she'll be there to show you your new home, and take care of you as you did her. She'll do the same for your other furry ones when their times come, you'll know they are in good paws.

God Bless, and may He grant you visits in dreams.

My little old Beagle, Sweetie, died tonight. I knew she was
declining, just everything - her energy level, her not eating, it was
harder to pill her. She had congestive heart failure, but one vet
thought she had a tumor in the area of her heart.

She was a sweet little Beagle, older, and my friend and I found her
in a parking lot staring into space this last spring. She got along
with my other 2 dogs so well. She had some good months, in
particular after her initial heart worm treatment in May. It made
all the difference in the world. From that time on, she was a perky
little dog, and enjoyed life. That is, until October, when she just
kind of turned around and started going downhill.

Sleep soft, sweet angel doggie, my Sweetie Beagle.

Gloria
