Dear Terrie,
I'm so sorry to hear of all that you and your hubby have been through, too! How terrible! I'm glad to hear that you were negative for Hep C and wish your hubby all the best as he battles this along with everything else. I don't know about you, but sometimes I just have to wonder, 'Gee, how much fun DID I have in a previous live, 'cause I seem to be paying for it now!'.
Take care and let's all hope for a bright and healthy 2005!
Love, Julie

Hi Julie! We welcome you back with open arms! I wish you a very "Happy Thanksgiving" as well.I know what your going through as well my husbandwas diagnosed in August too for Diabetes. Thank god he can take the pill form and been doing well on it. I can't imagine him giving his own shots. He doesn't like needles. There has been some dietary changes for him which at first was hard on him now he is learning. He had lost alot of weight from 200 (6ft2intall) down to 157. We have him back up to 178-180 pounds now. I have learned that it is his Carb intake that matters it's not so much as watching out for sugar. But of course he now uses sugar free and artificial sweetners. We also learned due to a Blood Transfusion back in the 60's he also has Hepatitis C so you can imagine what our response was like....OMG! (putting it nicely) So I had to go get tested as well thank god my tests came back negative. Then two weeks ago he had to have surgery on his left shoulder due to an old injury to clean out scar tissue and take out the anchor (because it was bent) for the rotator cuff tear. Which is healed up, so now he has to heal up before he can take any treatments for HEP C because it suppresses the immune system. He has been off work since the di! scovery of all this.I remember Cheddar well.....so sorry to hear about him. Was hoping to hear better news but now he is at peace and free at the bridge roaming with all the others there.Bless you for taking in the new kitty and glad he is comfortable with his surroundings!Glad to hear all your other kitties are doing well!Take care!
