Dear Sheila,

I am brokenhearted at your loss; I know what you and your husband are going through and it's what every one of us dreads.  I hope that in time you will both be comforted by 15 years worth of wonderful memories.

Take care of yourselves and know you are not alone.  Sending you both big hugs.

Love, Julie

Thank God for this group. I don't know how I would make it sometimes without people who understand what it's like to Love and care for a dear fur baby. We lost our oldest today (Mandy) she was felv + and though we had her for 15yrs it was not long enough. We have many more Cats (25) that we love dearly, but Mandy was so sweet and special. It will take a long time to come to terms with losing her to this terrible disease. She was my husbands best buddy and he is taking it so very hard. She shadowed his every footstep and sang him to sleep at night. She waited by the door for him to come home after work and sat on the side of the tub when he bath at night. I think she was afraid he would go down the drain. She went peacefully this morning at 4 am. Singing to him up to taking her last breath! . I can't believe she's gone. Please keep us in your prayers.   Sheila
