hi Jen, This happened to Buddie a couple of times and I figured out she must have hit it just right with the cabinet door she always got into. It didn't hit her hard because they have the little blob of rubber to stop them from closing completely and she got in there all the time, so when it happened she must have hit the exact nerve that would do that. It always got better on it's own in a few weeks. I did take her to the vet the first time but I figured out how it happened the second time, so knew it was nothing to worry about.
