In defense of the forever home people.....just like forever homes rescue people are not all alike eather....
Some one mentioned 4 to 1 cats to people ratio as good but they knew one that was a 10 to 1 and that one was OK...
Well I am at 1 to 14 ( 2 to 28)....The last dozen or so have been last chance cats..only hours from PTS....
And my 1st FeLV+ cats were supposed to be vet checked negative...After I drove 350 miles one way to save them
and found one of them half bald from fleas I wisely didn't take their word of vet checked and took them to my vet
who tested them positive...Out of 5 groups there has been only one that there hasn't been some kind of a negative
supprise that I feel the rescue person could have mentioned....I think there is a differance between being scared
about being kept in a cage at the vets and feral...Totaly frequed out in a large room even when I am not in it scared...
And at 1st they were all kittens but after we started making plans it was mentioned that one was the mother.....
She turns out to be a 2 year old feral...She can't be released becouse of FeLV+ but will she ever be able to have quality oh life while being kept inside....i don't know but I will work on it....

Thanks for listening...I guess it was me that started this week of whining too...lets hope that everything works out for the best for all of us in the coming weeks and we can get on with all having a Merry Christmas.....
