Michelle,
Theresa on the feline-lyphoma list has a cat with lymphoma in the
intestines, Jean-Luc, he has been on Procrit the same as Epogen for over
two 2 years, it basically has kept him alive, he is not producing any
red cell on his own and hasn't for the 2 years. You might want to join
the feline lymphoma list they are very knowledgable and supportive
also. It takes Epogen a few weeks to kick in so if it is something you
want to try I wouldn't wait too long. Theresa's Jean-Luc was at 13%
when he started it and dropped to 11% before it kicked in. He's been on
three different protocals and gone into remission 3 times. He
unfortunatetly has come out of remission for the fourth time and it
doesn't look good, he has lost a lot of weight and they are afraid
anymore chemo would be too much for him. He was diagnosed two years ago
November and very nearly died on more than one occasion. He is also
CRF, he is sort of our poster boy, she is trying PolyVMA to see if she
can get his weight up. The address is here if you want to check them
out:
