Hello,

Well, we are back on the list. My wife and I are still reeling from the loss

of our precious Dale earlier this year to FELV. At the time we both agreed there

would be no more pets for a while. It just hurt too much to lose Dale.

That was until she spotted a young cat that she said reminded her of Dale.

Well over my objections and after 2 weeks of arguing about it we now have her (I think it is a female as I cant

get close enough yet) in the house. We lured her into a crate with food and closed the door with

string that we pulled from inside the house. She is now sitting quietly inside the crate right behind me.

She has actually been quite calm since the initial panic once she realized she was trapped in the crate.

Hasnt even made a sound up until now, looks very alert and right now more forlorn than panicked.

Tentative name is Regina although Im not sure if that will stick. Im also not sure how feral she is.

We had great success in turning Dale from feral to the most loving cat I have ever know so that does not worry

me. I am sure you know what does.

Tomorrow its off to the vet for testing. We are praying for good results.

have her out of the crate)

Jonathan & Roberta
