I'm sure my son's 18 year-old cat's spraying issue was behavioral. "Fu" just doesn't like other cats because he was attacked regularly by my son's roomate's cat (an unneutered male) as a kitten. Now Fu stays with me and he has his own room and he doesn't spray anymore.
