Bailey was taking CO Q-10 for a long time for his mouth (I could hide
this in his food, the juice of the catfood which he would readily lap
up). My vet also gave me something new to try, it's a chinese herb
called Virolyte distributed by Thorne Veterinary. I was using them and
his lymphnodes seemed to be going down at first, but Bailey is such a
stinker about taking any medications his lymphnodes swelled right up
after about 2 weeks of giving it, worse than they have ever been. I
honestly don't know if it was the herbs or just the stress of
medicating. His lymphnodes went back down after I stopped medicating
within about 3 or 4 days, my vet is out of town but I will find out what
she thinks once she gets back. I'm leaning toward the stress of
pilling, Bailey is super sensitive about getting meds and pouts and
quits eating and being social when he is gettting meds regularly, that's
why I don't supplement him, the stress is worse than any benefit it may
have. He will not drink the catfood juice anymore he got wise to that
unfortunetly so I can't even give him his CO Q-10 anymore :(

Another thing she had me giving him was chamomile tea (all natural no
caffine version), all of these things helped but never completely
cleared it up, he did get all but his canine and front teeth in between
pulled after many, many months of different medications, accupunture,
and holistic things, they all helped but didn't get completely rid of
it. He also tested a very strong positive for bartonalla, he needs to
be retested but we have to wait 6 months.
