Her PCV/TS is 11/4.2
We did talk about a blood transfusion, but the veterinarian and I decided
against it, for the reasons you mentioned (the donors aren't tested, etc)if she
had regenerative anemia I'd definately go for it but hers is non-regenerative
so we figured she'd have to get a transfusion every 3rd or fourth day and I
don't want to put her through that especially seeing she doesnot like to be
handled as well as she is currently stable right now.
But do tell more about the recombinant interferon alpha (rHuIFN�a). How
exactly are the doses calculated specifically- I'll bring it up to my vet on
Monday. Ps. I am a vet tech so I could definatley use this info for our other
felv pos foster mom that is a client as well as the others that we see. If you
don't mind me passing it on to my entire clinic I'd love to be armed with this
