I just wanted to suggest, if anyone needs supplies in bulk, try to find somewhere locally to avoid shipping charges. I have had several cats that required large amounts of LRS (lactated ringers for subq fluid therapy). My vet charges $30 per bag and $15 for IV admin set. I found a place locally where I can buy the LRS for $2.25/bag and the admin sets at $2.00 each. I buy by the case, but you can just buy 1 bag if that's all you need (same price). It took me awhile, and I spent big bucks in the interim, to find this place, but it was worth the search. A vet tech, who knows other rescuers, told me about them. My vet writes me a script whenever I need it.

Check your local yellow pages under Veterinary Supplies. (Hospital Supplies and Pharmacies were a waste of time for the supplies we needed.)

Hope this helps,
Jo

My vets have always refused to approve me from ordering from places like that. :(
