I wish I knew more about it in terms of dogs, but I didn't even realize dogs got it, but sounds really similar between the two. My cat didn't get any actual swelling of the joints though. We're suppose to ween him to every 2 day pred but I'm too nervous to go lower once the disease comes back supposedly meds that worked before no longer help
