Sally,
I laughed out loud! when I read your words: " I asked her who she was angry
with and
she said it was with the vet. I was a bit surprised to say the least
and asked
her if she realized he had saved her life. She said yes, she was aware
of
that, but he had shaved off her fur! I had to laugh as that is SO like
Scarlett
to be so illogical about something like that. She did come out of
hiding and
begin to eat within a day or two after that, but would turn her shaven
side
away. She is one vain kitty."

My Quintapus, is a black & white medium haired stray who takes GREAT pride in showing off his white underbelly....but don't touch!......, well he goes to the cardiologist for sonograms for his heart once a year...and they never shaved him, but when he went to determine the extent of his CRF the other doctor, the internest... did.....BOY WAS HE TICKED WHEN HE CAME BACK OUT....and he kept trying to hide his nakedness, slinking low to the ground...etc.., esp. from my other cat Coebeio (a younger female)! Now I'm not a communicator, but I was SURE it had to be that he was upset that they had shaved him....its so funny to see that he isn't the only one to get bent out of shape about that! Thanks for sharing the story! Vainity thy name is cat!
