This is the most helpful place I have found! Thank you everyone. "Bossy" is about 12 to 18 months old. Hair and coat smooth and shiny, eyes are clear, no runny nose no signs of illness. Eats like a little pig, dry or canned. I am reluctant to get him neutered due to the stress if will put him through. He is not spraying and so far has used his litter box consistently for the last 2 1/2 days now. I think the less trauma he is put through the better for him as well as me, I can't stand to watch anyone or anything suffer.
I do have quite a busy house full. We have 2 Blue and Gold Macaws (Mackie & Baby), Doodle Bug (our other rescue felv- ), 2 St Bernard's - Beethoven ( 9 yrs. old ) and Sebastian (1 year old), 5 finch, 2 love birds, 7 rabbits, 5 white ducks, 4 mallard, 2 snow geese and we feed the deer, raccoons and deer that come up on my property.
Again my thanks to everyone who has replied back. I'm off to feed my "Zoo". We have gotten a few inches of snow and 4 squirrels are knocking on my door for their peanuts
