Can you all please help me find a home for a FIV positive MN. He is just about
the sweetest cat I've ever known. He is living at the hospital where I work,
so it is not an emergency situation. He was so nervous and scared the first
week, but his personality is starting to shine through. He is a white w/ sm
amounts of gray, he's very rock solid having been neutered at age 3! He was
brought in by clients with a gaping (about 6 inch) wound in the front of his
neck. He was not fixed, covered in fleas, mangy, dehydrated and all around
blah! They could not afford ANYTHING, not even the appointment they wanted to
just take him home. We couldn't let him suffer like that so our hospital being
no kill offered to take him. We have an abandoned animal fund which pays for
their care. Anyway, we neutered him, stitched him up and.... he's good to go
aside from having FIV (which I would take over having FELV anyday). So if
anyone knows a home, he is a very sensitive sole and soooo !
loving, you can hold him like a baby for hours I would really appreciate any
help. I'm going on vacation this 1/11, so I'll post him on petfinder when I
get back. Again, he has a good home at the hospital for as long as he needs it,
but he deserves a family and a real house.
