I have only, until recently, heard of it being used for arthritis in dogs, horses and humans. However, I saw an anecdotal testimony to it being used with feline leukemia. Then again I read about it today being used for feline leukemia in the book Natural Pet Cures by John Heinerman.

Cherie,
MSM is Methylsulfonylmethane which is a supplement sold on the vitamin counters and most commonly used for arthritis. It is a relative of DMSO.

i give it to my 13 yr old dog 1x daily as prevention for arthritis. never
read about giving it to cats. I have to hide it in liverwurst. he goes for
a check up next week and i am going to ask for x rays to see how he's doing
as I've noticed limping very very occassionally.
