It may be skin allergies. My mom has a kitty about every two months or so he gets a shot and is put on some preds for it. He sits around and drives me crazy when I'm visiting her home. Just so happens when I show up then I feel like he dumping fleas off on to me imaginary itching starts.
But she doesn't have any fleas in her home none of the cats go out.
But in the past he done the same thing with just one flea jumping on him drives him nuts. He does have allergies to fleas.
(he is a long hair lynx point siamese)
