I understand your worry and have had it. You need to find someone with a backhoe (not a "back-hold") which is one of those big yellow construction vehicles with a bucket on it that can dig or lift. They can dig the hole and lift the horse to place the horse in the grave. In most states it is illegal to bury large animals, so you probably need to do it after dark. If you know other horse people, quietly ask around if anyone knows someone with a backhoe who is willing to do this sort of thing, and contact someone to see if they are willing when the time comes, which hopefully will not be for a very long time.
