Dear book authors, We are making good progress with the book. Most chapters have now been reviewed, revised, checked and added to the book. A new layout is in place, updated notation instructions, and scripts for checking inconsistencies between chapters.
As you know, there have been a number of deadlines (or milestones) in the past and the book is still not ready. But it's now time to set a final deadline (this time for real) and wrap things up. So here it is: The final deadline for submissions (of revised chapters) is January 31 2011 That's in 10 days so it's time to get going now. Here's a timeline: January 31: deadline for submissions February 15: editing work finished, proofreading copy ready February 28: proofreading finished March 15: book finished On February 15, we will make a copy of the book available for proofreading. Everyone is invited to proofread the book. More on that later.
