Hi there,
I am a Linux sys-admin at the University of Edinburgh. A number of our users would like to be able to use fenics. In the past I have installed fenics from source but it keeps breaking because other bits of the OS get upgraded. Since we are using Scientific Linux I would like to look into packaging fenics. I see there are some spec files around but I am not sure how uptodate they are.

I was wondering if there are any efforts to produce rpm packages from the fenics components? If not, I'll start with the spec files I found here: http://jgu.fedorapeople.org/

Is there a particular place where the spec files could be sent to?

Cheers
magnus
