Dear Fenics community I had posted a question earlier regarding a fluid-flow and heat-transfer problem involving two different 3D meshes. Since there was no response to that, I am asking a more generic question about which I'm hoping someone can tell me:
Is it possible to use test and trial functions from two different function spaces (possibly defined over two different meshes) in a single weak form? Under what conditions can I do this (eg., if each term in the form has functions belonging to only one of the spaces)? Please help me with this. Thanks! Aditya Kashi
