I have a user who would like to use FEniCS on our cluster. Our compute machines are all SLES 11 SP 2 and SLES 11 SP3. Within the next few months they will all be SLES 11 SP 3. Would it be possible to get direction for building FEniCS for these machines?
The systems have GCC version 4.3.4 as the OS default. I also have GCC version 4.8.2 compiled for these machines. The Intel compilers are also available. Python version 2.6 is the OS default. I also have versions 2.6.6, 2.7.3 and 2.7.7 compiled. We do put applications in a separate apps tree: /hpc/apps/SLES/3.0/x86_64/<app_name>/<version>, Let me know what other information you need.
