Make sure that you're building matching versions of PETSc and SLEPc.
Dorsal may not be up to date. It's maintenance is rather weak currently
and development of new hashdist based installation is now in the focus
of developers. https://bitbucket.org/fenics-project/fenics-install

If you don't need an eigensolver, you can disable SLEPc by commenting
out slepc in your platform file as a workaround.
