Hi Moritz, Sorry for the late reply. What you can do is to download the fenics-developer-tools repository, remove vtk from your preferred profile and run fenics-install.sh with this profile. The following commands will do that:
git clone https://bitbucket.org/fenics-project/fenics-developer-tools.git cd fenics-developer-tools cp install/profiles/fenics.Linux.yaml local.yaml editor local.yaml # remove vtk in this step ./install/fenics-install.sh local.yaml Johannes On Sat, Feb 14, 2015 at 8:37 AM, moritz braun <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear All > > First I need to applaud the people how have > developed this script it really works extremely well > compared to the dorsal script that I tried to use earlier. > However on redhat enterprise linux 6.6 server it > fails to build vtk. > Since I do not really need vtk on a server, I > would like to disable building it. > However, googling around for quite some time did not > yield a solution. > > regards > > Moritz > > -- > Prof M Braun Tel.:27-12-4298006/8027 > Physics Department Fax.: 27-12-4293643 > University of South Africa (UNISA) > [email protected] > P.O.
