You can also try the conda recipes[1], I developed them for my own use
under Arch Linux.

Dear all,
I was trying to install fenics and dolfin on Arch Linux, following [1],
and ran into some problems. Maybe you want to update your instructions
accordingly:
* python2-scientificpython is not available any more, I added a package
to the aur. You should thus list it under the aur packages, not the
ones installed with `pacman`
* metis should be named before parmetis, since it is a dependency (more
for cosmetic reasons, it does not really matter)
* The following aur packages have been renamed:
- instant-bzr -> instant-git
- fiat-bzr -> fiat-git
- ufl-bzr -> ufl-git
- drop ufc-bzr
- ffc-bzr -> ffc-git
- viper-bzr -> fenics-viper
- dolfin-bzr -> dolfin-git
There are still (reported) problems with some of those packages, but
once those are sorted out by the corresponding maintainer everything
should build fine.
Best,
Felix Schindler
