We have now officially moved the Questions & Answers from the Launchpad pages. Garth has been busy removing mailing lists and tidying up our presence on Launchpad, but some pages still remain active.
The suggestion is to keep the Q&A pages (and thus the project pages) on Launchpad as an archive, but encourage posters to move their questions elsewhere. I don't think there's a way to close the Q&A forum for new submissions while keeping the old questions archived, so instead we should 1. Mark *all* questions, both old and new, as "Expired". 2. Add the following comment to each question: FEniCS no longer uses Launchapd for Questions & Answers. Please consult the documentation on the FEniCS web page for where and how to (re)post your question: http://fenicsproject.org/support/ 3. For new questions, if it is obvious that the questions is not appropriate for StackExchange, for example if it is a question regarding installation of Debian packages which should go to [email protected], then add a comment on that. If you have some spare time, consider spending a couple of minutes marking questions as "Expired" and add the above message. -- Anders _______________________________________________ fenics mailing list [email protected] http://fenicsproject.org/mailman/listinfo/fenics
