Maybe, on http://fenicsproject.org/support/ there could be added suggestion to search launchpad (or google) when having simple question of type 'how to do foo?' as there is good chance that it has been already answered. It's a waste to throw away such a big question database.
For example blockbuster problem 'assuming DOF ordering as in FEniCS book does not work' already had its first night on scicomp. It has been answered in many variations on launchapad.
