Hi all, I'm looking at implementing an interface to PETSc's FieldSplit for block preconditioning (Garth has already started work on this, <https://bitbucket.org/fenics-project/dolfin/commits/branch/garth%2Fpetsc-fieldsplit>. For block preconditioning, one obviously needs to identify the blocks. Given a (linear) operator _A, is there currently a way to extract information about what indices are associated with what variable?
