Every time I've tried the Trilinos backend, it's been slower, so I've never had
much need for it. I'd be happy for it to be removed.

In particular, I don't think Trilinos nicely supports Schur complement
preconditioners (with all of the related nesting and composition) and wrapping
both would be a major pain.
