Hello FEniCS experts, I apologize for linking to a question from the Q&A website but it is the only thing that prevents me from switching to FEniCS at the moment and I fear it might get easily overlooked. http://fenicsproject.org/qa/7541/ufl-unsupported-operand-type-s-for-form-and-form
And since this mailing list is also for suggestions: from a user-point of view I think it might be interesting to work together with a project like FreeCAD (also LGPL licensed, can be used with GUI or Python scripts). A possible workflow for people with complex meshes would then be: 1. Create a parametric model in FreeCAD using a boundary representation 2. Define boundaries and regions (by selecting them graphically) 3. Convert to a mesh representation, using netgen/gmsh/... 4. Export as an .xml mesh to be used in dolfin, with boundaries and subdomains defined as in step 2 5. Do finite-element related stuff I cannot really estimate the amount of work needed for this, so feel free to ignore the suggestion. Kind regards, Maarten
