Probably your best bet is to email the PR/Marketing folks at Valve and see
if they're interested. Not sure where to go from there though.

Worst case scenario is someone would volunteer to drag their gaming desktop
and temporarily put SteamOS on it. :)

Best of luck! It'd be pretty awesome to see if Valve would show up to the
event.
