I thought La Quinta was supposed to have a special rate..... I think that the Marriott's special rates just cover the weekend. I think they just assumed that people in Bellingham for the Fest would be checking out on Sunday to go home.
I suggest calling both and checking with them. Perhaps someone at the Marriott can make a special arrangement over the phone.
