While it would be great to have some streaming LFNW talks/sessions, that is not the main value of the Fest to me. In fact, most years I never get a chance to see a single talk. At our Ubuntu table in the "vendor" room, we get a chance to talk with users, prospective users, friends old and new, and other vendors while most folks are in the talks. The "hall track" at LFNW -- like most conferences -- is at least half the value of getting together. I fully understand that that is not possible this year for important reasons, I very much do not want us to move to a "streaming only" model. There is loads of great content on YouTube and free alternative video sites, but none of them are at all like attending LinuxFest Northwest! I will miss seeing all of you this year very much.
