I had that happen about 4 weeks ago. Only lasted an hour and then it went away.

I can't reproduce this, but here's approximately what I did:

 * http://linuxfestnorthwest.org/sessions/git-er-done-git
 * logged in
 * added this talk and Jesse's other to the ones I want to attend
 * closed tab
 * went back to site to look at my openid association (openid still
isn't working) but didn't use openid or need to login again
 * The line at the top read: 'Welcome back jkeating, Logout'
 * tried to edit profile, but the send message box had my email address
in the 'from' line so it still knew I wasn't jkeating.

Regrettably, I couldn't edit the profile ;)

 * logged out, back in. Still said I was jkeating
 * did something that I don't remember (browsed around, may have closed
tab again).
 * It now showed 'Welcome back bcl, Logout'

I tried to reproduce it by removing myself from his talk, and re-adding
but that didn't do it.

So for now its just a weird data-point for you.

Brian

This is something that has cropped up from time to time. So far no success in tracking down the exact cause. You are actually logged in as you, the username
seems to be picking up the previous person who logged in.
