LinuxFest Northwest will have a Tutorium again this year. It has been a big hit
for the past 2 years. For the most part, the people who came in were new,
interested in open source principles, and excited about having a hands-on
opportunity.

The Tutorium will be set up in a computer lab on the first floor of Haskell for
people to try out Linux and open source applications. There will also be mini-
presentations throughout the Fest, as well as information sheets on open source
applications intended for people who are just starting out.

Share your enthusiasm and expertise with people who are just starting to
explore
open source. Tutorium volunteers who sign up before March 31st will get Tutor t-
shirts.

If you can assist open source and LFNW by being a tutor, please send me an
email
off-list ([email protected]) indicating when you can spend a couple of hours
helping
new folks. Please include your shirt size if you want a Tutor-T.

Give it a whirl.
