Hi, Valorie --

The Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE) did an entire track on Women in
Open Source (WIOS). The schedule for this is here:

http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale8x/special-events/scale-8x-women-open-source.html

Many of the women who spoke at SCALE would probably be available to speak at
LFNW.

My daughter Mirano, along with Karsten Wade's daughters Malakai and Saskia,
did a talk during the WIOS track, talking on "Girl Voices in Open Source."
The girls use talked about their use of various FOSS programs and the Wade
girls made a film with Blender (I think).

Anyway, just thought I'd pass that on, since WIOS was fairly successful at
SCALE and, as the father of a tech-minded daughter, I'm always a big fan of
promoting women in tech.
