Dear LFNW,
Please accept my thanks for allowing me to give a talk at LFNW 2013. As
with my experiences in the past with conferences, LFNW is a very valuable
opportunity for all who take part to interact with so many people across
the Linux community, and become exposed to new ideas and information in the
process. Its so valuable because its not every day that I can interact with
so many people that understand and use Gnu-Linux and FOSS.

At the beginning of my talk, I stressed the above point to my audience, and
that they should profit from their time at the conference to make new
acquaintances and connections with other attendees. I went on to remind my
audience that our community is in competition with the likes of Microsoft
and Apple, who posses billions of dollars in their coffers. We do not have
such deep pockets. Instead, we have an amazing community that those
corporations would never be able to buy even with all the money they have.

Warmest regards,
Peter Gordon.
