Hi 横溝秀始

Stress is a lexical stress. Stressed syllables in a word are marked with
stress.

Accent is an intonational feature. It signs the syllables which speaker
decided to put accent on. Usually they are stressed syllables in content
words, but there might be different cases. For example speaker might
want to accent some word in order to change the meaning of the
utterances. Accents later could be specialized to prosody pitch contour
events.

For example, there might be different ways to speak of the same phrase

When did you buy it? I bought it yes(accent here)terday
Who did buy it? I(accent here) bought it yesterday.
