To Bira and the rest of the authors here in FFML: The suggestions given by Bira and our latest admin Brian Randal make a lot of sense, like he said, these are good ideas and as such a waste to throw away. They could also be good springboards for neophytes, people who are stretching their wings, to learn how to be better writers. This idea has my wholehearted support provided that a) as per Bira's letter, the original author is acknowledged and b) that the succeeding author have the permission of the original to tamper, change or continue his or her work?

I've seen it done here in a limited fashion (as "joke" vignettes), but I think the list could stand to benefit from a larger dose of remix culture. As long as proper credit is given, I see no problem with it.
