BTW, this is offtopic, but this tty freezing business is one of those things that makes me wonder why stuff on *-nix does not have better defaults? What is the excuse for a shell not cleaning up children it spawns? Is it POSIX compatibility? Or is the excuse that some obscure shell script out there depends on tty state being modified after running a command? I would like the default to be saner, but I doubt I have the energy/expertise to work upstream with all this stuff. > > Regards, > > -- > Nicolas George > > _______________________________________________ > ffmpeg-devel mailing list > ffmpeg-devel@ffmpeg.org > http://ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-devel > _______________________________________________ ffmpeg-devel mailing list ffmpeg-devel@ffmpeg.org http://ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-devel
