They added some clarification for what the different stages mean to the specification itself: https://veovera.org/docs/enhanced/enhanced-rtmp-v2#version-stage-definitions And then announced the beta stage: https://github.com/veovera/enhanced-rtmp/discussions/38 Their definition for the "Beta" stage says that no breaking changes or new features should be introduced at this point and it is "ready for implementation". Would be nice to have it in mainline ffmpeg soon!
