This patch set was motivated by ffmpeg being unable to open .HIF files

With these changes, ffprobe/ffmpeg will no longer
error out on those types of files.
nice!

do we have a nikon heif/ hif file sample for our samples
repository? http://samples.ffmpeg.org

we like to keep some files around for testing , to make sure we dont
break them later.

As far as I can see, no, there aren't any heif/hif/heic files, going by filenames I found in allsamples.txt

How would I submit some? There's the Nikon .HIF I used here, but I can also submit a .heic from my phone (OnePlus Open), and a resized Nikon .HIF that I saved with NX Studio that I currently can't get libheif/libde265 to decode properly.
