Strangely enough I also was running fate without the samples for a
long time until someone pointed me to make fate-rsync. It is there in
https://ffmpeg.org/fate.html, but this is linked after the patch
submission checklist in
https://ffmpeg.org/developer.html#Contributing. At least from my end,
a patch improving this is welcome.
Interesting. Anyway, it works fine now once I've got the sample suite.
