jpezzi <[email protected]> added the comment: I found that the source was released by visiting their website. Also my own player states and the manual found from their website (http://www.netbox.fr/files/Notice-netbox-8160.pdf) that the license used by FFmpeg is LGPL. Netgem does notify about upgrades on their forums (in French). I also noticed that it doesn't credit Linux kernel in any way, so that's another violation or more likely a small mistake.
For older HD7600 player: http://www.netbox.fr/forum/viewforum.php?f=11&sid=fc266d09242258cbee46c94731cfb17a For newer HD8160 player: http://www.netbox.fr/netbox8160/viewforum.php?f=5 The version number of the Netgem binary is the same as the firmware version. Maybe someone affiliated with FFmpeg should write to their forums (OR straight to Netgem) as the development team reads and responds to posts in the forums. ____________________________________________________ FFmpeg issue tracker <[email protected]> <https://roundup.ffmpeg.org/roundup/ffmpeg/issue678> ____________________________________________________
