Hi there,

i built an application sending an jpeg/rtp stream via JMF and want to
convert that stream into rtmp to rebroadcast it via red5

using xuggle/ffmpeg.

Running ffmpeg from commandline using a SDP file as SessionDescriptor
for the RTP Stream fails with "Segmentation fault"

(-> simple testing with ffmpeg -i mySdp.sdp test.flv)

Output :

Heres my sdp file that describes the RTP Stream :

v=0

o=- 1150320775 1150320775 IN IP4 x.x.x.x

s=rtpStream

e=NONE

c=IN IP4 x.x.x.x

t=0 0

a=charset:Shift_JIS

a=range:npt=0-

a=control:*

a=etag:1234567890

m=video 22224 RTP/AVP 26

a=control:trackID=1

b=AS:128

a=rtpmap:26 JPEG/90000

a=framerate:10.0

a=x-framerate:10

can u help me concerning that topic?

My questions would be :

a) is ffmpeg prinicipally able to convert a RTP Stream containing
JPEG Format into RTMP/FLV

b) can u help me building a wellformed sdp file (ffmpeg conform)?

Thanx in advance!

Smoeker
