johnny <johnny666...@sonnenkinder.org> added the comment: i also get bit-exact decoding to raw video now that i tried this with ffmpeg. the decoded stream is however in both cases not ok (you can see that ffplay stops decoding) and there is the error message from ffmpeg '[mpeg2video] mpeg_decode_postinit() failure'
