johnny <johnny666...@sonnenkinder.org> added the comment: to clarify: my splitter (stream parser) provides each packet from the beginning of each mpeg-2 start code (00 00 01 xx) to just before the beginning of the next one. avformat does it differently, hence the problem cannot be reproduced with avformat. but is what i'm doing wrong?
